Neurosonology: Research Neurosonology Laboratory

Tanja Rundek, MD, PhD, is the Neurosonology Research Laboratory Director and is conducting a research on numerous epidemiological and intervention studies which are ongoing with the use of carotid Doppler imaging including measures of carotid plaque, carotid intima media thickness (IMT) and carotid distensibility. The lab has expanded and is a resource for various investigators on the campus.
